Fireball Run, Columbus Day Parade and Mahopac Street Fair this Weekend

Join Putnam County as we welcome Fireball Run Adventurally for a weekend filled with exploration, epic cars, community activities and more. The Fireball Run is in its 10th Season, and this year, Putnam County is one of their destinations. On Friday, September 30th, Fireballers will traverse the county, following clues and searching for some of Putnam’s most legendary destinations. Join us at the finish line on Route 6N in Mahopac beginning at 2:00 PM to check out the cars, meet the contestants, and show off our Putnam County Pride. Friday evening festivities continue into the evening with the Mahopac Italian American Club Evening in the Piazza! Make sure to swing by Chamber Park for your favorite Italian treats like zeppole, and live music from spectacular bands.

The epic weekend continues Saturday morning, when the Fireballers line up on Route 6N at 7:00 AM to prepare for the last leg of their journey to Massachusetts. Join us in wishing the contestants luck, and bidding them farewell as they motor off onto their journey. Stick around once the cars leave and enjoy the Italian American Club Columbus Day Parade! Kicking off at 10:30 AM, the parade will begin at Lake Cassie Road and flow down Route 6. This year’s parade Grand Marshall is Town of Carmel Police Chief Michael Cazzari. This year, the Columbus Day Festivities will benefit Drug Crisis in Our Backyard!

After the parade, be sure to stick around on Route 6N for this year’s Mahopac Street Fair brought to you by the Greater Mahopac-Carmel Chamber of Commerce! This year is set to be more epic than ever with a ton of exhibitors, live music, rides and more!
