The Girl Scouts Heart of the Hudson will host their annual “World Thinking Day” event on Wednesday, February 22 from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at Jefferson Valley Mall, Yorktown Heights’ family-friendly shopping destination. The event will feature arts and crafts, a flag parade and an indoor pop-up campsite.
“Jefferson Valley Mall is eager to welcome the Girl Scouts Heart of the Hudson as they continue a valued tradition,” said Alexa O’Rourke, marketing director at Jefferson Valley Mall. “We are dedicated to serving as a community resource for local families and supporting vital organizations throughout the year.”
Attendees and Girl Scouts are invited to let their creativity soar during “World Thinking Day” with cultural crafts inspired by international destinations and a special gardening station near the Food Court. The event will also feature a flag parade conducted by The World Peace Prayer Society on Level 2. In addition, attendees will have the chance to explore an indoor pop-up campsite sponsored by DICK’S Sporting Goods, equipped with Girl Scout Troop essentials and tasty s’mores.
