Saturday, June 3rd, 2017, Noon-5:00pm
The LOFT LGBT Community Center -- The current climate of adversity facing the LGBT community has only made us stronger, prouder, and more committed than ever to the continued advancement of LGBT rights. Every June, our worldwide community is extra OUT, LOUD, and PROUD by celebrating LGBT Pride with marches and festivals, renewing our commitment to being and remaining visible.
On Saturday, June 3, 2017, from Noon to 5:00pm, The LOFT LGBT Community Center, Westchester’s first and only LGBT center, is holding its third annual Pride celebration, LOFT Pride 2017, on its lovely outdoor grounds at 250/252 Bryant Avenue, White Plains, NY 10605. This family-friendly Pride festival is free to all, and all are welcome. LOFT Pride gets bigger and better every year, and this year attendance is expected to exceed 900. Among the free and stellar entertainment will be—
- Star performers with Broadway Sings For Pride
- Internationally known pop/rock band BETTY
- Trans activist & singer-songwriter Ryan Cassata
- Drag entertainer Sutton Lee Seymour
“Social justice organizations always participate in LGBT Pride annual celebrations. This year, however, there is a significant increase in their engagement, and their presence at LOFT Pride 2017 will be even more visible.” -Judy Troilo, Executive Director of The LOFT LGBT Center.
