Brewster R&G Farmers Market Opening June 1

This season the market will be just as great as last season. In fact we hope it will be even better we are expanding our product line to offer more variety to all of our loyal customers.  We are hoping to see many new faces this season. Last season was OK, but we will need to see significant growth and added support this season in order for the market to continue after this year.  For opening week, the variety of full-fledged summer veggies will be limited until the growing & harvest seasons enters full swing. However, please do not despair.  We will still have lots & lots of goodies including but not limited to the following.  Greenhouse & hothouse tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, red peepers, eggplant, broccoli & cauliflower.   Outdoor grown fresh radishes, cilantro, spinach, dill, arugula, & high quality & tantalizingly delicious superb "Bavarian Red German Stiff Neck Fresh Garlic". Fresh baby Romaine, Boston, & Red Leaf head Lettuce & salad mix may be ready as well for opening day. Pure 100% 1 lb. jars fresh & natural beehive farm honey. Fresh fruits will include dynamite sweet Bing & Rainier cherries, sweet & juicy strawberries, & blueberries.  Our fresh yummy free-range delicious chicken eggs are not yet available but will be soon forthcoming.  Sweet potatoes, Yukon Gold potatoes, Red potatoes, & Red & Yellow onions, & Butternut squash will be available.  Fresh herbs including mint, thyme, oregano, rosemary, & basil will be available for the early birds in pre-packaged fresh sealed containers.  Fresh Asparagus & Mushrooms should also be ready!

                We will also have an awesome variety of pre-packaged & pre-jarred Green Queen Olives, Bourbon Brined Green Olives, Pickle Stuffed Green Olives, Double Stuffed Jalapeño & Garlic Olives and Kalamata Olives, Hot sliced Cherry peepers, Antipasto peppers, Marinated mushrooms, sundried tomatoes, & marinated artichokes.  Full-sour, Half-sour, & Spicy Dill "Whole pickles" by the quart & Sweet, Horseradish, & Hot & Spicy "pickle chips" by the pint.

                 Wait! We are not finished yet!  Yes, there is more! Those who know from last year already know, but for those who do not...  Get ready to taste the most Spectacular tasting freshly baked breads you have ever had in your life. Yes, even better than Arthur Ave. in the Bronx Quality.  Our superb breads are hand & homemade baked from scratch starting at 2:00 am Saturday mornings by LaLima's Bakery located in Monroe NY.  If you get to the market early by 8:00 am, they are still warm from the oven.  The breads vary in price, but they were an absolute hit last season & regular customers from Danbury CT and farther away would come every week for these delicious goodies.  We will have all the following breads, Long Italian seeded & unseeded, Semolina, Olive Bread, 7 Grain Bread, Chocolate Bread, White Chocolate Bread, Cherry Chocolate Bread, Cinnamon Raisin Bread, Cranberry Walnut Bread,  Jalapeño Bread, Romano Cheese Bread, Fennel Raisin Bread, and last season's best selling and my own personal favorite, "Perfect Prosciutto Bread".  They are so spectacular you want to try all of them trust me. Oh yeah, don't forget the soft yummy pretzels & Biscotti as well.
