Metro-North to Operate Regular Weekday Service on the Hudson, Harlem and New Haven Lines for Monday, Aug. 10

Busing will be provided between Southeast and Goldens Bridge due to storm damage and no service to or from Wassaic and Southeast.


On Monday, Aug. 10, Metro-North will operate its regularly scheduled weekday service on the Hudson, Harlem and New Haven Lines.  

----On the Harlem Line, train service has been restored to Goldens Bridge, and weekday train service will be provided between Goldens Bridge and Grand Central Terminal. Substitute busing will be provided between Goldens Bridge and Southeast, and will follow the train schedule. However, customers should expect to board southbound buses 10-20 minutes earlier than the scheduled train time.  There is no service between Southeast and Wassaic.

On the New Haven line, the following service has been restored:

--On the New Canaan branch, regular weekday train service has been restored.

--On the Waterbury branch, substitute bus service will run on regular weekday schedule.-- On the Danbury branch, trains will operate on a weekday schedule.Due to continued work on damaged infrastructure after Tropical Storm Isaias, delays are possible. Please allow for extra travel time.  On the New Haven Line, customers will use bridge plates to board trains at some stations. Please for your safety, do not stand on the bridge plates before the train arrives, and wait for the train to make a complete stop before boarding bridge plates.

On Monday, Metro-North is cross-honoring tickets and waiving on-board fares.
