Brewster Schools looking for Audit and Finance Committee members for next school year

The Brewster Central School District Board of Education is seeking community members to participate on the Audit Committee and/or Finance Committee for the 2021-22 school year.

Audit Committee

The committee usually meets twice per year, in September and May, but more frequently if
necessary. Meetings typically last one - two hours, and are held at 7am or 8am. Video
conferencing is available for those who are unable to attend in-person.


The first Audit Committee meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, September 21st at 8am.

Finance Committee
The committee usually meets at least three times per year, in August, November, and June, but
more frequently if necessary. Meetings typically last one - two hours, and are held at 7am or
8am. Video conferencing is available for those who are unable to attend in-person.
The first Finance Committee meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, August 17th at 8am.

If you would like to participate on one or both of these committees, kindly email a letter of
interest to Ms. Lauren Zagorski-Treuel, District Clerk, at ltreuel@brewsterschools.org no later
then Wednesday, June 30th.

The committee members will be appointed at the Board of Education’s Reorganizational meeting on July 6th.
