With Kent Recreation's baseball and softball season ow over, we are ready to start gearing up towards soccer season for children ages 3 through 12. But...there's a new way for you to sign up this year!! In the coming days, we will be introducing our very first and brand-new online registration platform!! You will now be able to sign up for all Kent Recreation activities and programs via this new, quick and easy-to-use method! We're not ready to go live just yet, but wanted to give you a heads up that we should be up and running come July 2nd!
With the new introduction to online registration, we would also like to announce the very first season of our VIP Sports Program. For those of you who may have missed our first posts/emails about VIP Sports, this is our new program tailored for those who may have difficulties with participation in our regular sports/soccer programs. It is a six-week soccer clinic where each participant will be paired with a peer mentor, learning the basics of the sport while getting one-on-one coaching! It's open to all school aged children, so if you'd like to learn more about VIP Sports, please send us an e-mail at recreation@townofkentny.gov.
With that said, we're are looking to start up our soccer season with practices in late August and games beginning soon after in mid-to-late September, so make sure to jump on registration as soon as you see our next e-mail. In the meantime, please email or call the Kent Recreation office if you have any questions about registration, VIP Sports, online website, or anything else in particular.
