Barton & Loguidice Acquires Brewster Planning and Landscape Architecture Company with plans to move to Somers

BARTON & LOGUIDICE GROWS HUDSON VALLEY FOOTPRINT

WITH ACQUISITION OF EBERLIN & EBERLIN

Firm Enters Lower Hudson Valley Market, Increases Offerings

 

In a move to increase its growing presence in the Hudson Valley and expand its client services, Barton & Loguidice (B&L), an engineering, planning, environmental and landscape architecture firm with over 250 employees throughout the Northeast, has acquired Eberlin & Eberlin, P.C., a 70-year-old Brewster, New York-based planning and landscape architecture company. The Brewster office is B&L’s ninth in New York State and fourth in the region, adding to its Newburgh, New Paltz and Ellenville locations.

“Bringing Eberlin & Eberlin into our fold provides our clients with greater offerings through the firm’s deep expertise in designing athletic fields, enhancing our reach within the K-to-12 and higher education markets, while deepening our footprint in the lower Hudson Valley and Westchester County,” said Richard Straut, P.E., a principal of B&L. “Best of all, there is a strong alignment between our two firms’ core values, commitment to excellent client service and innovative, sustainable design.”

With this acquisition, Eberlin & Eberlin employees have joined the B&L team, including Eberlin & Eberlin’s President Ronald Tetelman and Landscape Architect – Project Manager Leigh Jones, who have become part of B& L’s Sustainable Planning and Design Group.

B&L will operate out of its existing Putnam County office, at 31 Sodom Road, in Brewster, New York. It plans to relocate to a new, larger office space in Somers, New York, in Westchester County, this summer.
