Creative Writing Workshop with award winning author Gail Carson Levine

Acclaimed author Gail Carson Levine returns to the Brewster Public Library again this summer to offer a free, six week creative writing workshop.  If you love to write stories or poems, this is the program for you! In the course of this workshop, students will be given writing exercises and will share their work with the class. They will also learn what to listen for when someone is reading, as well as how to give and receive helpful criticism. Ms. Levine has been teaching creative writing as a volunteer for many years. Her goal for her students is to make writing as much fun as it can be! Don't miss this wonderful opportunity to learn from this award-winning author of such books as Ella Enchanted, The Two Princesses of Bamarre and The Lost Kingdom of Bamarre.  The class will be held on Wednesdays, July 11 to August 15, from 1:30-3:00 pm.  For ages 10-18.  Registration is required. Participants must be able to commit to at least 5 out of the 6 class sessions.  This program will be held at the Southeast Museum, 67 Main Street (next door to the library).  For more information visit www.brewsterlibrary.org or call (845) 279-6421.
