Maloney to Hold Second Drive-In “Speak with Sean” Town Hall This Weekend in Beacon

Representative Sean Patrick Maloney (NY-18) will host a drive-in “Speak with Sean” town hall this weekend. This event will be held at the Story Screen Beacon Drive-In Theater, and is part of Rep. Maloney’s ongoing effort to give constituents the opportunity to speak directly with their congressman and get help with federal services during the coronavirus pandemic.

“A new normal means new ideas,” said Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney. “I had a great time being back outside in a safe, socially-distanced way with people here in the Hudson Valley at my first-ever drive-in town hall a few weeks ago, and I’m inviting folks to come out again this weekend in Beacon. We’re going to talk about the issues that matter most to New Yorkers, and get people the help they need during this pandemic.”

In adherence to social distancing guidelines, all attendees will be required to stay in their vehicles and listen to the town hall through the provided radio signal. Constituents who wish to ask a question will be invited to text their question, and the Congressman will call them through the audio system on speakerphone and address their concerns. Masks will be required for anyone outside of a vehicle.
