Byrne Announces 94th District’s Best in Business Competition

Assemblyman Kevin Byrne (R,C,I,SAM,ROS-Mahopac) is pleased to announce the launch of his first ever 94th Assembly District Best in Business Competition. In honor of local businesses who have proudly continued to serve our communities despite facing incredible challenges this year, Assemblyman Byrne will be hosting a district-wide competition where constituents vote amongst 22 different categories to recognize and honor their favorite local businesses.

“I am excited to announce the launch of this new initiative and hope that it can serve as a fun way for our community to highlight all of our amazing local businesses,” said Byrne. “This past year has been challenging for all of us, and our businesses are certainly no exception. I am truly inspired by the incredible determination so many of our local job creators have demonstrated and am grateful to have so many wonderful businesses in our region. The purpose of this competition is to highlight local businesses that go above and beyond for their customers and communities. If you have a local business you would like to highlight or see honored this is a great chance to do so.”

Byrne is partnering for the competition with the Putnam County Business Council, Mahopac-Carmel Chamber of Commerce, Somers Chamber of Commerce, Brewster Chamber of Commerce, and Yorktown Chamber of Commerce.

“On behalf of the Yorktown Chamber of Commerce we are happy to be a part of Assemblyman Byrne’s Best in Business initiative,” said Nancy Stingone, the Executive Director of Yorktown Chamber of Commerce. “This competition is a great way for the Chamber to support and promote our local businesses that have served us throughout the pandemic and are welcoming back their customers.”

Upon voting, constituents will be entered into a drawing where they will have a chance to win a gift card provided by some of our generous local businesses throughout the district. Constituents may only vote once per each category. Voting will be open throughout the month of May and close on May 31.
