Early Voting in Putnam County Now Taking Place

Putnam will hold Democratic, Republican, and Conservative Primaries for the 17th U.S. Congressional District in August 2022. Voters must be registered and enrolled in a party holding a primary to participate.
~ Voter registration for the Primary has ended.
~ Current voters had to enroll in a party by August 11.

New Yorkers have three ways to vote:

Vote Early (Sat. 8/13 - Sun. 8/21): Voters may visit ANY of the below Countywide Early Voting centers during the dates and times listed.

Vote By Mail - By 8/8Request a ballot online, by mail or fax. The Board must RECEIVE your ballot request by this date. If applying due to COVID-19, select "Temporary illness or physical disability" as the reason (this includes the risk of spreading or contracting any illness).

~ Return Ballot: By mail (postmark by 8/23) OR at any Early Voting or Election Day poll site in your county until close of polls, or your Board of Elections office.
