Durante Wins Republican Primary In Southeast

With 100% of the votes counted, Political newcomer Nick Durante has defeated Paul Jonke in this year's Republican Primary for Supervisor in the Town of Southeast primary election according to the Putnam County Board of Elections.

Joining Durante on the ballot in November will be 2 neophytes to the Southeast political scene. Wendy Lewis and Alex Mazotta. Both Lewis and Mazzotta received enough vote to oust incumbent John O'Connor an outgoing Councilman Edwin Alvarez opted not to run for re-election this year
