The Fiscal Year 2019 Village of Brewster Budget was adopted at the regular meeting of the Board of Trustees on April 19th.
Since the State mandated tax cap went into effect beginning in fiscal year 2012, the Village of Brewster has remained at or below the mandated cap each year and continues to do so in this budget year. In fact, the 2008-2009 budget year tax levy was $669,074 and this year’s tax levy is $673,403, which is less than a 1% increase from 10 years ago.
Additionally, our water and sewer rates remain unchanged.
