Putnam County Executive MaryEllen Odell, Commissioner Michael J. Piazza, Jr. and the Putnam Community Services Board announce that a Public Hearing for the 2019 Local Government Plan (LGU) for Mental Health Services will be held on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at the Putnam County Department of Social Services Conference Room, located at 110 Old Route 6, Building #2 of the Donald B. Smith Government Campus in Carmel.
At the Public Hearing the 2018 LGU Plan will be reviewed and there will be discussion regarding the objectives of that plan. The county will also report on any additional needs and gaps in services raised in meetings with consumers and providers in order to establish the 2019 plan.
This is an opportunity for any member of the community to give informal testimony and identity what needs and gaps in services for mental health, alcohol and substance abuse services and developmental disabilities exist in Putnam County, so that these concerns can be included in the 2019 plan.
This meeting is open to the public.
