Putnam County Covid-19 Update for April 7, 2020

Putnam County officials have released todays update on Covid-19 in the County. Putnam Hospital Center reports that as of last evening there has been 14 deaths in the county attributed to the virus. Nineteen patients remain hospitalized and an additional 10 are in the hospital under investigation for the virus.

As of March 6th, when the virus was first identified in Putnam County, 14 people have passed away due to the virus.

County Executive Maryellen Odell in a press release for the Economic Development Corporation put the number of deaths at 15 as of early this morning.
