Putnam County officials have released todays update on Covid-19 in Putnam County. Putnam Hospital Center reports 0 additional deaths yesterday attributed to the virus. Twenty nine laboratory confirmed patients remain hospitalized at Putnam Hospital Center and an additional 5 are in Putnam Hospital Center under investigation for the virus.
As of March 6th, when the virus was first identified in Putnam County, 16 people have passed away due to the virus.
There are now a total of 456 laboratory confirmed cases of Covid-19 In Putnam County. The hardest hit demographic are people between the ages of 40 & 69 years of age. Men account for 261 of the total cases in the county and woman account for 195.
