Troop K removes twenty-five impaired drivers from public roadways over the August 1, 2020 weekend

State Police in Troop K (Hawthorne) issued 855 vehicle and traffic law violation tickets during the August 1, 2020 weekend.  From 5:00 p.m. Friday, July 31, 2020 through 3:00 a.m. Monday, August 3, 2020. New York State Troopers in Troop K issued tickets for 466 speeding violations, 10 distracted driving violations, 7 child restraint violations, 10 move over violations, and removed 25 impaired motorists from the roadway.  Troop K includes Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess and Columbia Counties.
