Putnam County Sheriff Robert L. Langley, Jr. reports the arrest of a New Milford, CT man on narcotics sale and possession charges.
In early June, an investigator assigned to the Sheriffs Department Narcotics Enforcement Unit (NEU) developed information that the New Milford, CT man was involved in the sale of Fentanyl within the county. On June 21, 2021, members of the NEU took the subject into custody at a local establishment in the Town of Southeast.
Taurean T. Coleman, age 30 of New Milford, CT was charged with (3) three counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rdDegree and (2) two counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree.
Coleman appeared in front of the Honorable Judge Mole in the Putnam County Superior Court and was remanded to the Putnam County Correctional Facility in lieu of $50,000 cash / $100,000 bond.
