Family University comes to Brewster on Thursday, October 26, 2017, from 5:30pm to 9:00pm.
Putnam CTC Coalition and the Brewster Central School District will be sponsoring an evening of education and information for middle and high school students and their parents. The evening will start off with workshops for parents which deal with topics that range from stress and communication skills to what’s trending. The students will participate in workshops that deal with issues they face or may face during the teen years like healthy relationships and stress. A light dinner in the cafeteria will be provided where families can sit, eat and talk. After dinner, there will be a community keynote presentation for parents and students. The cost is $3.00 per person. Where can you go for three dollars and get some great and useful information, eat and bond with your teen? Family Universities are held all over the country and they all have one goal in mind – to promote awareness and communication among families. Mark your calendars for Thursday, October 26th and be part of our Family University!
