On April 27, 2018, the New York State Police from the Somers barracks arrested CHRISTOPHER R. HILLMANN, age 29, of Danbury, CT, for Operating a Motor Vehicle While Impaired by Drugs, Reckless Endangerment 2nd degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree, and several vehicle and traffic violations.
At approximately 10:02am, a New York State Trooper was on a Vehicle and traffic stop on I-684 northbound when HILLMAN was operating a 2005 Peterbuilt Tractor Trailer in the middle lane. HILLMAN first struck a 2015 Volkswagon Jetta ahead of him in the middle lane then continued to the right shoulder where he then struck the NYSP Patrol car, then continued between the guide rail and entire passenger side of the NYSP Patrol car, then struck a 2016 Chevrolet Colorado.
HILLMAN was arraigned before the Town of Bedford Court and remanded to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond. HILLMAN is scheduled to appear before the court on 05/02/18 at 7:00pm.
