On July 17, 2018, the New York State Police conducted a Speed Enforcement Detail on Interstate 684 throughout Westchester and Putnam county. During the detail a total of 74 tickets were issued including 48 speeding tickets, 1 seatbelt ticket and 25 other tickets for violations of the Vehicle and Traffic Law. In addition, an arrest was made for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana.
