Sheriff Langley with Erie County brothers Matthew and Andrew who is battling brain cancer. The Sheriff presented both with the lapel pins and challenge coins. The Erie County Sheriff’s Department arranged a staged drug bust and called Andrew up asking for him to come in and help them. They did the whole thing as an emergency response take down and cuffed up the “bad guy.” Andrew had been sworn in by Erie County Sheriff Howard as a deputy for the day.
