Journey through a wonderland of illumination! Culminating a year of festivities celebrating the Zoo’s 100th birthday, this festival will showcase more than 50 large-scale illuminated displays, featuring hundreds of beautiful individual and interactive lanterns, spanning the width and breadth of the Zoo’s 30 acres. On view Thursdays - Sundays through December 2nd.

It’s murders, mystery, and mayhem at the MAC in Milford! Fun and antics ensue this weekend as Eastbound Theatre opens its fall production of a hilarious farce by John Bishop. The show includes hidden doorways, bumbling inspectors and a maid who is apparently four different people. When you see it, you’ll get it. Come early and enjoy the MAC Speakeasy for wine, beer, cocktails and snacks. Weekends through Sep 30th.

Considered by many to be the perfect musical comedy, this show features gambler Nathan Detroit as he tries to find the cash to set up the biggest craps game in town while the authorities breathe down his neck. Meanwhile, Nathan’s girlfriend and nightclub performer, Adelaide, laments that they’ve been engaged for fourteen years. From the heart of Times Square to the cafes of Havana, this show eventually takes everyone right where they belong. Running Fridays and Saturdays through Oct 14th.

This inaugural concert celebrating the music of Latin America features a variety of musical traditions and high-level artistry, including INTEMPO teaching artists and advanced students. Lead INTEMPO teaching artist Geo Suquillo and bass instructor Deiker Torrealba perform in the concert as well as students who were finalists in the 2018 Darien’s Got Talent produced by the Darien Arts Center. The concert is free, and all are welcome, but reservations are encouraged at darienarts.org.
