Why Small Businesses Matter in Bridgeport: Zee Bella Glam

Why Small Businesses Matter

Shop small, do big things for your community

Why Small Businesses Matter puts a spotlight on the local merchants who donate their time, talent, goods, and services for the betterment of our community. The shop local movement spreads virally as local businesses who are “tagged” have the opportunity to share their story!

You're IT Zee Bella Glam!

Four questions with Zelda Ogiamien, founder of Zee Bella Glam.

Why did you start your business?

ZBG was created for makeup lovers to express themselves and bring out their already beautiful selves in creative ways. I’m a makeup artist and I’ve loved makeup for about as long as I can remember. This cosmetic line is only the beginning of ZBG, there are more layers to come because I have a passion for fashion and all things glam that I can’t wait to share.

What is your best-selling product/service?

Best selling products: lip glosses, eyelashes, and highlighters!

How many local businesses do you use to support your business (products and services) and can you name them?

I use OSADIA African Hair Braiding and Fabrics, located in Bridgeport, CT.

Have you "reimagined" your small business?

Yes, and we plan on expanding soon!

Zelda nominates Corrah’s line, Rose Beauty Cosmetics!
