Why Small Businesses Matter in Bridgeport: Somethingwolfy

Why Small Businesses Matter

Shop small, do big things for your community

Why Small Businesses Matter puts a spotlight on the local merchants who donate their time, talent, goods, and services for the betterment of our community. The shop local movement spreads virally as local businesses who are “tagged” have the opportunity to share their story!

You're IT Somethingwolfy!

Three questions with the founder of Somethingwolfy.

Why did you start your business?

I started Somethingwolfy based on the needs of different towns and cities communities while with thoughts of Connecticut as a whole.

What is your best-selling product/service?

Our best services are helping build businesses and customize products for people. We also throw fairs and festivals to fundraise for different community needs including Operation Hope and Bridgeport Food Pantry.

How many local businesses do you use to support your business (products and services) and can you name them?

It's more of a symbiotic partnership. I help make farms sustainable for seasons to come while building product lines across the state.

Have you reimagined your small business?

Yes. We have a larger committee to push more growth and development with CT. We also have a focus on hemp development across the state and encouraging innovations to challenge the markets to create new outlets of sustainable products including plastics made from hemp plants, and fibers for rope and clothes. We are doing events on an even larger level to help fund the needs of different missions across the state.
