June 8 and 9, take a ride to the White Silo Farm and Winery, located on Rte. 132 in the quiet hamlet of Sherman to join in the rhubarb festivities.

This weekend, White Silo is holding it's 6th annual Rhubarb Festival. The festival will feature six scrumptious dishes prepared with farm fresh rhubarb plucked straight from the rhubarb patch. Dishes will include chicken tacos with rhubarb salsa, French toast with rhubarb syrup, rhubarb crisp, and vanilla panna cotta with gingered rhubarb compote, rhubarb ice cream sundae with warm rhubarb sauce, and mixed greens with roasted rhubarb.

The festival will also feature live music on Saturday by Blue Yodels from 1:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. and Martin Meyer on Sunday from 12:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. to enliven the festive atmosphere. The festival takes place from noon to 5:00 p.m. each day.

Guests of the festival can enjoy sampling their rhubarb goodies on the newly built terrace that has seating for 50 and has beautiful views of the farm and vineyard. The vineyard is well known for it'sfruit wines which will pair nicely with the farm fresh rhubarb.
