Don't let this happen to you ~ the Norwalk Boat Show goes till 6:00 p.m.

Now is the time to look at boats for next summer. Visit Brookfield's Candlewood East Marina exhibit (on your right as you enter the main gate) to get a trade-in quote or talk about getting your first boat. Candlewood Lake is one of our best assets, according to Money Magazine, when they voted Brookfield #26 of the best towns to live.

Owner of the marina, Mitch O'Hara, Jr. (shown in #2 photo) and his team were just awarded the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) for best Marketing Partner Award.

According to NMMA:

  • Powerboat sales rose ten percent in 2012 with another five to ten percent increase expected for 2013
  • Hundreds of boats from more than 200 local businesses will be showcased at the show
  • The annual economic impact of recreational boating in CT is $1.34 billion; in the US it is $72 billion

The Norwalk Boat Show continues today until 6:00 p.m. and it looks like those showers gave way to sunshine!
