Brookfield Craft Center Expands: Here's What's Happening

Several projects underway at Brookfield Craft Center as they upgrade and expand their facility. Check out the amazing progress this nonprofit has made!

The Good Forge:

As you know we received a grant from the Windgate Foundation to expand the Good Forge.  If you follow us on Facebook, you may have seen the videos that we posted to keep you updated.  I realize many of you do not do Facebook, so below is a video showing the progress to date in just under 2 minutes.  You can watch all the videos on our YOUTUBE channel.

The Glass Studio:

We are replacing the rubber hoses in the Lampwork area of our glass studio.  This work will be done this Saturday.  We will be running copper tubing under the work table and short run of hose from that tubing to the torches.  This will be safer and more cost effective.

The Mill Building Sign:
We are pleased to report, because of the generous contributions of those listed below, we reached our goal of raising $9,000 to refurbish the sign on the Mill Building!  Dan McKee and Steve Turco will begin work shortly.

Our sincere thanks goes out to the following for their generosity in helping to support our Craft Center:
