Summer is in full swing at the Brookfield Library!

We kick off the month with a great concert on the lawn from Modal Express. Fans of music from the 1970s and 80s won’t want to miss this!

We hope you took advantage of our book giveaway and got yourself a copy of this year’s One Town, One Read selection, The Violin Conspiracy.

The Brookfield Library has a full line-up of programs surrounding this year’s selection, and will kick them off with Uke from Scratch on July 10. Movies, adult coloring, writing, paper crafting, and storytelling programs with our OTOR theme speckle our July calendar. Check them out on our website!

Our Children’s and Teen departments have been bustling with this year’s phenomenal Summer Reading Program, “All Together Now.”

Stop by and see the latest "I Spy" display, fill out a Bingo sheet, spin the wheel, and win some prizes! Programs in both departments include crafts, games, book clubs, and movies, along with a special Drumming Class and an Open Mic Night. See our website for details, and plan to join us!

You have one more month to view the stunning exhibit in The Brookfield Library Art Gallery, Beyond the Lens by Nina McKitty. The Art Gallery is also accepting submissions for the August exhibit, which will correspond with the Summer Reading theme of “All Together Now.” See our website for details on how to get your artwork included. The submission deadline is July 16! Follow our Art Gallery Facebook page here for updates.

Please note: Our Summer hours have begun and we're closed Sundays until September 10. Additionally, we will be closed on July 3rd and 4th for Independence Day.

Please see our website for details regarding dates, times, and registration details for all of the above programs and more! It’s going to be an incredible summer at the Brookfield Library.
