Summer is in full swing at the Brookfield Library!

Our Children’s and Teen departments have been bustling with this year’s phenomenal Summer Reading Program, “Adventure Begins at Your Library.”

Kids - stop by and see the latest iSpy display, fill out a Bingo sheet, spin the wheel and win some prizes! Programs include crafts, games, and book clubs, along with a special Musical Adventure Children’s Concert, a Dog Days of Summer Activities and Adoption Event, a Cartooning program, and Photography class (Grades 4 to 8).

Teens - besides our bookwriting and gaming groups, you can join our activists group, take part in an Escape Room adventure, Make Homemade Ice Cream, enjoy Open Art Hour, and an Open Mic Night. See our website for details, and plan to join us.

There are plenty of fun things for grown-ups, too! Outside of our book groupsknitting groupgenealogy and Mah Jongg Clubs, there is a songwriting workshop, and an informative program about bobcats. Get your craft on with card makingpaper quillingneedle felting and basket weaving offerings.

Please note: Our summer hours have begun and we are closed Sundays until September 11th. Additionally, we will be closed on July 4th and 5th for Independence Day.
