Some tickets remain to see the classic-rock band America on their 40th Anniversary Tour at The Ridgefield Playhouse on Saturday, August 24, at 8 p.m. “A Horse With No Name” was one of America’s No. 1 hits along with other chart-toppers “I Need You”, “Ventura Highway”, “Don’t Cross The River”, “Tin Man”, “Lonely People”, “Sister Golden Hair” and “You Can Do Magic”. Special guest is Chris Berardo and The DesBerados Acoustic Trio Show.

This event will be the last chance to purchase a raffle ticket to win “a Mercedes for a year” courtesy of Mercedes-Benz of Danbury, as the drawing will take place from the stage on August 24.  The new black 2014 E-350 sedan boasts black leather, a black soft top, Premium 1 package, illuminated door sills, Sport Package AMG® 5-spoke alloy wheels, heated front seats and other trappings.  Recognizing the important role that the arts play in our community for diverse audiences such as families, children, seniors and students, Mercedes-Benz of Danbury is a sponsor partner of The Ridgefield Playhouse.
