The English Department at Eastern Connecticut State University hosted English Night on May 1. The event featured an awards ceremony and five student presentations from graduating seniors.
Julia Montville '21 of Brookfield, who majors in Communication, was among those honored at the reception. Montville received a First Year Writing award, which is given to first-year students with writing that is innovative, creative, well-researched or uniquely articulated. She was chosen for her piece "Must be Music on the Brain."
