Community is not Canceled: Food Pantry on the Move, Curbside Distribution

Community is not Canceled

Neighbors helping neighbors, community members reaching out to our local senior citizens, residents supporting our heroic first responders -the inspiring stories and acts of kindness brought forth by our current crisis are extraordinary. What's more, small businesses, local nonprofits, and civic organizations are innovating to stay connected and serve the community.

Community is not Canceled, a series made possible by LIFEWTR will showcase Connecticut's awesome response to this unprecedented situation. We are in this together. Stay strong.

Help keep this mobile pantry moving!

The Brookfield Food Pantry is welcoming donations to their “Brookfield Recovers” fund, which assists town residents in need during this difficult time.

The funds are used to purchase food items to re-supply the pantry at discounted prices made possible through partnerships with Connecticut Food Bank and Feeding America. The Mobile Pantry is traveling to various locations throughout the month, offering curbside distribution of nutritious foods.

You can help ensure that Brookfield residents in need can stay at home without compromising basic needs. The town’s Department of Social Services administers donations with 100% of all contributions going directly to providing food.

To support the Brookfield Food Pantry, check out their Amazon Wishlist to see what items they need. You may also make a donation via check, payable to:
