Tomorrow, Friday, June 3rd, Brookfield Police Officers will participate in the annual Connecticut Law Enforcement Torch Run in support of Special Olympics Connecticut.
Our officers will be receiving the torch from the New Milford Police Department at FaithChurch.CC : New Milford, CT. From there, they will be running the torch south on Federal Road towards KFC. At KFC, the City of Danbury Police Department will be taking over the torch and running it to the Bethel Police Department.
Our run ends at Harley-Davidson of Danbury, after approximately 6.5 miles. Please use caution while there are runners on the road and expect slow moving traffic on Federal Road beginning at approximately 0830am.
