Brookfield residents take heed! Earth Day is this Sunday, April 22! There are a host of events and celebrations taking place in and around {hub name} that include outdoor concerts, local artisan exhibits, farmers’ markets, and community cleanup efforts - all dedicated toward bringing awareness to our environment and preserving our planet.

Community Earth Day on Lawn of the Bethel Municipal Center (1 School Street, Bethel)
Join the Bethel community from 10 am to 3pm as they celebrate Earth Day by coming together to build and support a healthy environment. The event will include local vendors, non-profit organizations, community groups, artists, craftspeople, farmers, animals and animal lovers, and others who are dedicated to environmental awareness and preserving our planet.
Shredding Day in Ridgefield
Bring all your old receipts, bills, tax papers, bank statements, checks, etc. to be shredded by Winters Brothers mobile shred truck - you can even watch while they do it! Funds raised by this event go toward Club initiatives, like those involving senior citizens and the RHS senior scholarship. Shredding Day will take place from 9am to 1pm at 94 Danbury Road - parking lot (behind Starbucks)
This event is sponsored by The Lions Club. Cost is $10.00 per paper-box sized box (larger is extra)
