Brookfield Library Hosts Reader's Theater Workshop Monday, September 24 from 5 to 5:45 pm.
Reader's Theater is a way to bring literature to life for children by incorporating facial expression, gestures and voice inflection. It encourages participants to work together and provides peer support for less confident readers.
In our workshop, we’ll be reading different short plays where you'll be able to choose character traits and voices for each part. Each session will begin with stretching to warm up our bodies and end with a cool down.
For kids in Grades 3-5 (no auditions required). The group will meet on four Mondays (9/24, 10/1 and 10/15). Please register for one or all sessions.
