FREE showing of The Mustang at Brookfield Library this Saturday, June 15th at 2:00 p.m.

Directed by Laure de Clermont-Tonnerre and starring Matthias Schoenaerts, Jason Mitchell, and Bruce Dern. Roman Coleman, a convict in a rural Nevada prison who struggles to escape his past, rediscovers his own humanity in a social rehabilitation program. There he must gentle an especially unbreakable mustang named Marcus. During the program, Roman is helped by a no-nonsense veteran trainer and an outgoing fellow inmate and trick rider. His journey with Marcus inspires a heartfelt connection and challenges him to be a better person.

“Filmmaker Laure de Clermont-Tonnerre’s story of a troubled convict (an incendiary, indelible Matthias Schoenaerts) bonding with a wild mustang is a striking debut. Each time you think you have this movie pegged, it’ll knock you for a loop.” – Rolling Stone

Rated R for language, some violence and drug content; 96 minutes. Free showing, popcorn & soda.
