Unique collage and assemblage artist, Kiffi Diamond, will have her work on display at The Brookfield Library Art Gallery from February 3 – 27. There is an opportunity to meet the artist at a reception on Sunday, February 9, from 3:00 – 5:00 pm (snow date Feb 23).
Using her signature style and strong design sense, Ms. Diamond combines idiosyncratic materials into witty visual narratives. “For the past four decades, I have combined disparate materials to create cohesive compositions and solve problems, generating quirky, compelling visual narratives,” said Diamond, an artist from Ridgefield.
Her works have been featured at museums and galleries across the country including many in Connecticut, New York and Massachusetts. Inspired by the personality of the objects, Ms. Diamond looks for the richness of character, patina and history to let a dialog unfold, creating something compelling.
