"Powerful, emotional, joyful, surreal, and hopeful" - these are all words to describe this weekend at ACT of Connecticut.

"We opened The Last Five Years to the most grateful audiences, and we are just so proud of this show and this community. What an incredible weekend of performance and how amazing to be back!" says ACT of CT Artistic Director, Daniel C. Levine.

The Last Five Years ingeniously chronicles the five-year relationship between two New Yorkers: Cathy, a struggling actress, played by Katie Diamond (Jersey Boys, The Pirate Queen), and Jamie, a budding novelist, played by Daniel C. Levine (Les Miz, The Rocky Horror Show, Jesus Christ Superstar). The show is music directed and conducted by Bryan Perri (Jagged Little Pill, Wicked).

"Our audiences are raving about this glorious show and we hope that you will join us as well," says Levine. "Please remember, if you do not yet feel comfortable returning to the theater in person, The Last Five Years is also live-streamed each and every performance! And trust us, this is a live stream quality like no other!" he adds.

Named one of the ‘ten best shows of 2001' by TIME Magazine, The Last Five Years is sure to remind you just how powerful theatre is and how thrilling it is to be back!
