Fiesta del Norte - an Outdoor Concert on the Brookfield Library Lawn on Saturday, May 1 at 3 pm.
Connecticut-based Mexican Mariachi band Fiesta del Norte will be performing the traditional folk and popular music of Mexico. They will be joined by traditional dancers.
The band plays on authentic instruments, such as guitar, vihuela, guitarron, violin, and trumpet, with beautiful singing throughout. Song translations, storytelling, and cultural insights are interwoven between musical numbers.
