Live Concert on Brookfield Library Lawn on Sunday: The Silver Fox Trio featuring Rhonda Denet

The Silver Fox Trio featuring Rhonda Denet will perform on the lawn of the Brookfield Library this Sunday, June 27 at 4pm!

Live concerts are back at the Library!  Join us on the North Lawn at 4 pm on Sunday, June 27, for The Silver Fox Trio featuring vocalist Rhonda Denet. You might remember Rhonda from the From Jazz to Soul program she presented a few years ago.

This year’s concert is Just Jazz, featuring songs from the 30s, 40s and 50s. This showcase celebrates music from the Great American Songbook with songs found on the radio, stage, and screen. It highlights popular standards by Cole Porter, Duke Ellington, and The Gershwins, and made famous by Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Nat “King” Cole, Frank Sinatra, and others.  June’s concert is a memorial tribute to Walt Fisher, one of the Concert Committee’s founding members, who passed away in early 2020.

Please bring lawn chairs or blankets. Parking is limited. Social distancing will be recommended. If you are not vaccinated, please wear a mask.

This is the first 2021 concert by the Brookfield Library Concert Committee.
