Brookfield Library plans fun family events for Take Your Child to the Library Day

Take Your Child to the Library Day on Saturday, February 4

Ages PreK–Grades 5

Registration Required

10:00–10:45 am: Donuts with Your Grownup

Kids are invited to come to a special storytime with their favorite grownup (mom, dad, grandparent, aunt or uncle) and enjoy a sweet treat afterwards! REGISTRATION REQUIRED (please click the link above)

11:30 am- 12:30 pm: Make Your Own Library Book Box

Kids will use paint, scrapbook paper and other embellishments to create their own Library Book Box to take home to store their favorite books. REGISTRATION REQUIRED

1:00–1:45 pm: Winter Woods and Wouldn'ts Performance

Join us for a whimsical educational program about the wonders of the Winter Woodlands, by Two Right Feet. Children will experience problem solving and literacy awareness through songs, rhymes, mime, and creative dance. REGISTRATION REQUIRED 

CHILDREN'S BOOK SALE: 10:00 am–2:00 pm
The Friends of The Brookfield Library will be holding a mini-book sale of children's books only in the Community Room on Take Your Child to the Library Day. Please plan on shopping before or after any of the above programs.
