The story of vocalist, guitarist, and pianist Melody Gardot is remarkable; she's persevered against abject adversity throughout her life. As amazing as her story is, what is more evident is that she possesses a blue, jazz-oriented style and dusky persona that reflect not only her afflictions, but conversely the hope and joy of making personalized music that marks her as an original. Napoleon Dynamite Live Featuring Jon Heder, Efren Ramirez, And Jon Gries on Fri, Oct 6 at 7:30pm
The beloved indie classic "Napoleon Dynamite" was made almost almost 20 years ago. Since then much has changed; but the characters, as enduring as they are endearing, stay in our hearts. This unique evening includes a full screening of "Napoleon Dynamite" followed by a lively, freewheeling, moderated discussion with fan-favorite cast members: Jon Heder (Napoleon Dynamite), Efren Ramirez (Pedro) and Jon Gries (Uncle Rico). Part of the Hearst Media Entertaining Conversation Series and Cohen & Wolf P.C. Movie Series.
