Schools Closed for Remainder of Year, Brookfield Superintendent to Develop Plan for Students Can Collect Personal Belongings

This morning Governor Lamont announced that Connecticut schools will remain closed for in-person learning for the remainder of the 2019-2020 academic year.

I'm aware that many students and parents are anxious to retrieve personal belongings from school. In consultation with Dr. Sullivan, Brookfield Health Director, we are developing a plan that adheres to safety protocols and the appropriate timing of students/parents entering school buildings to retrieve belongings.

Please know that when the plan is finalized, your child’s principal will be in communication with you regarding a plan and schedule outlining a safe and orderly process for the retrieval of personal items, including medication from the health office.
