Kids in Kindergarten to 5th Grade are invited to paint with Ben's Bells at Brookfield Library

Kids from Kindergarten to 5th Grade are invited to join Ben's Bells at Brookfield Library for an afternoon of crafting! On Wednesday, June 28th, Ben's Bells will be at the library to teach the mission of their campaign - "to inspire, educate, and motivate people to realize the impact of intentional kindness, and to empower individuals to act according to that awareness".

After her 3-year-old son, Ben, passed suddenly in 2002, founder Jeanette Maré was comforted by the kind acts of strangers, and decided to create Ben's Bells, an organization built on strangers doing kind acts. Kids at Brookfield Library have the opportunity to paint the beads that go onto the bells they make!

The event will run from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Registration is required, either online, by phone at 203-775-6241, or at the Checkout Desk.
