AARP Safe Driver Course in Brookfield on Sept. 29

The Brookfield Library is hosting an AARP Safe Driver Course on Saturday, September 29, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

The AARP Driver Safety Program is designed especially for drivers age 50 and older. This single session, four hour course covers the normal changes in vision, hearing and reaction time associated with aging and provides practical techniques on how to adjust to these changes, along with learning to operate vehicles more safely in today’s increasingly challenging driving environment.  No written or driving tests; classroom only.

This course is open to CT residents only, and registration is required. Program cost: $15 for AARP members; $20 for non-members.  Bring a check for payment the day of the course. This class meets in our downstairs community room, and is being taught by AARP volunteer Alex Makai.
