Services planned for Brookfield resident, Nicola Trozzi

Nicola Trozzi, 93, loving husband of the late Rose (DiMeo) Trozzi, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 3, 2018, at The Village at Brookfield Common.
 
Born on December 10, 1924, in Palena, Abruzzo, Italy, he was the son of the late Gaetano and Angela (Isaco) Trozzi. Mr. Trozzi retired from the construction industry following many years of work on New York City's roads and bridges. He was an avid gardener and vintner. After almost
60 years in the Bronx, New York, he most recently resided in Brookfield, Connecticut.
 
He is survived by his children; Angela (Trozzi) Dickover and her husband, Michael; Marie (Trozzi) Diamond and her husband, Andrew; and Guy Trozzi and his wife, Leona. In addition, Mr. Trozzi is survived by his 4 grandchildren: Rose Diamond; and Julian, Nathaniel and Isabelle Trozzi.
 
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 12, 2018 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary’s Church; 55 Catoonah Street, Ridgefield. Interment will follow in Kensico Cemetery; Valhalla, NY. 
 
Friends will be received on Sunday, November 11, 2018 from 4:30 to 6:30 PM at Kane Funeral Home; 25 Catoonah Street, Ridgefield. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to a charity of your choice.
