As many of you know, the beloved "Mrs. Santi" is retiring at the end of this month. The Library had planned an informal open house this week to allow patrons and former students to wish Sharon well, but our building is now closed to the public.
However, Mrs. Santi will be working on Tuesday, November 24, behind the Circulation Desk, fulfilling patron orders of materials for curbside pick-up. We thought it would be nice to invite members of the community to join us in a curbside parade at noon that day. Please line up your cars in the parking lot of The Brookfield Theatre and parade by the Library front doors to offer Mrs. Santi some drive-by well wishes! Feel free to bring signs or balloons to make it festive for her!
