Brookfield Police Officer Eric Birdseye Dons Uniform for Last Time, Thank You for 30 Years of Service!

At 7:00 AM today, Officer Eric Birdseye doffed his uniform for the last time as a Regular Officer with the Brookfield Police Department.

Eric retires today after having completed 30 Years of Distinguished and Honorable Service to the Citizens of Brookfield.  Eric is a decorated officer, having earned commendations and awards for his bravery, life saving skills and investigative work.

As a United States Navy Veteran, Eric will appreciate the sentiments of his brother and sister officers as we wish him “Fair Winds and Following Seas” as he enjoys what we hope will be a long, healthy and happy retirement.

We hope he won’t be a stranger to us as he continues to serve as a special officer in his retirement.
